We are united by our desire to create engaging stories, foster community growth, and nurture aspiring creators.
Members of Ink Drop Café collective share traffic through a banner system, and we also support one another through social channels and convention networking.

Awards
The Ignatz Awards are accepting submissions of comics until May 31.
The first annual Prism Awards are accepting applications of comics featuring queer characters and content created by queer creators. Categories include Best Short Form Comic, Best Webcomic, Best Comic from a Small to Mid-Size Press, Best Comic from a Mainstream Publisher, and Best Comic Anthology! Applications are due by June 1.
SPX is accepting submissions of comics for their Ignatz Awards. Submissions of comics are not required for potential nomination, however. Any books mailed in must be received by June 7.

Crowdfunded Projects
NSFW! Men Plus Monsters: Vol 2 NSFW Print Comics is running a Kickstarter to fund the production of the second volumes of MEN+MONSTERS and ACE OF BEASTS. These comics feature kinky consensual gay and pansexual relationships in over 100 pages each of full color NSFW comics. Tier options include exclusive digital comics and digital and physical copies of ACE OF BEASTS and MEN+MONSTERS volumes 1 and 2. The Kickstarter ends on May 5.
Spidersilk: Volume 2 Relaunch is hosting a Kickstarter to fund its printing and shipping. Spidersilk is a queer fantasy comic featuring Prentice at its lead, an ex-soldier and new member of a guild of thieves. Tier options include digital and physical copies of the second volume of Spidersilk, a digital copy of the first volume, a digital wallpaper, prints, stickers, keychains, and commissions. The Kickstarter ends on May 7.
Unversed Comic Anthology is running a Kickstarter to fund its production. The anthology is a project of the members of the Advanced Graphic Novels class at Pacific Northwest College of Art, focusing not only on comic art but the business and production that follows comic creation itself. The works within follow the theme of “unknown” – situations, feelings, and experiences. Tier options include digital and physical copies of the anthology, postcards, stickers, original art, and original comic page art. The Kickstarter ends on May 12.
For When You Can’t Sleep At Night, a collection of comics about mental illness, is running a Kickstarter to fund its production. For When You Can’t Sleep at night will contain 60 pages of original introspective content, 45 pages of which will be brand new and previously unseen online. Tier option include digital and physical copies of the book, a handwritten letter of thanks, limited edition prints, original comics, and stickers. The Kickstarter ends on May 13.
NSFW! June is hosting a Kickstarter to fund the production of Digital-to-Print Psyche Delico Yaoi Titles. Psyche Delico is a creator of original yaoi comics who has published over 15 volumes of work in Japan since 2008. The four books featured in this Kickstarter, previously published in English through digital means only, will be printed into physical copies should the Kickstarter succeed. Tier options include a June vinyl sticker, digital and physical copies of the books, a postcard, keychains, a slipcase, body pillow covers, volumes 1-8 of Ai no Kusabi, and more, The Kickstarter ends on May 17.
Chirault: Volume 3 is running a Kickstarter to fund the production of its third volume. Volume Three will collect chapters 11 through 16, more than 300 pages of comics, of the high fantasy webcomic adventure series. Tier options include digital PDFs of volumes 1-3, physical copies of the new volume 3, a mini comic, bookplates, art prints, cameo appearances within the comic, and commissions. The Kickstarter ends on May 24.
Strong Female Protagonist: Book Two is running a Kickstarter to fund its production. Strong Female Protagonist is a webcomic series that follows Alison Green, an American college student and former superhero who retired after learning about conspiracies that extended beyond her vigilante justice. Book Two will be a full-color paperback comic of more than 300 pages collecting chapters 5 and 6 of the series. Tier options include PDF and physical copies of Book One and Book Two, enamel pins, and a tote bag. The Kickstarter ends on May 25.
Bottoms Up! True Tales of Hitting Rock-Bottom is a comic anthology project raising funds for its production on Kickstarter. The comics will feature true stories of addiction, dependency, body dysmorphia, and more illustrated by 38 artists. Tier options include a physical copy of the final book, past anthologies and mini comics printed by the publisher Birdcage Bottom Books, risograph prints, original artwork, and more. The Kickstarter ends on May 22.
NSFW! Oh Joy Sex Toy: Volume 4 is running a Kickstarter to fund the printing of its fourth volume. Oh Joy Sex Toy is a free weekly webcomic featuring educational comics about sexuality, birth control, the sex industry, sex toys, kinks, and more. Volume 4 will feature the comics that were uploaded from April 2016 to April 2017, including those produced by guest artists. Tier options include PDFs and physical copies of volumes 1, 2, 3, or 4, a digital wallpaper, and a signed bookplate. The Kickstarter ends on May 31.

Cicada is seeking submissions of poetry, fiction, essays, and comics for their issue on puppets and dolls due by May 27.
StArt Faire is seeking comics (mirrored or exclusive) for their next issue. Submissions are due by May 29.
The Arlathvhen: A Dragon Age Fan-Zine is accepting submissions from artists until May 5.
The Kissing Booth Zine is accepting submissions until May 7. It will be sold digitally with profits going to an accountable charity organization.
Just The Two of Us, a Korrasami fanzine, is accepting applications until May 10. All contributors will receive a physical copy of the zine. Additional profits will be distributed evenly among contributors.
The Potential Zine, celebrating the fan artists, writers, and cosplayers of the Voltron: Legendary Defender fandom, is accepting submissions until May 10. The zine will not be made for profit, but will be collected and distributed in a free PDF.
Between Two Points: An Illustrated Sheith Fanzine is accepting applications until May 14.
The HQ!! Siblings Zine is accepting applications until May 14. Fics, artwork, and collaborative works are welcome. The final zine will be distributed for free online with no profits created or distributed.
San Japan, a convention in San Antonio, Texas, is running two art contests with two winners for each. Two T-Shirt Contest winners will each receive an Artist Alley table and four convention badges.
